Dynamic Edge at Sens Development Camp

For the second year in a row Dynamic Edge has been contracted to help evaluate the Ottawa Senators during their annual development camp. "It was a very hectic week, but we managed to evaluate all 30 players" said Karen Muncey, President and CEO of Dynamic Edge, quickly adding "We couldn't have done it without help from several of our clients!" Karen was referring to 16 year old goalie Dean Shepherdson (goaltender with the Ottawa Jr. 'A' Senators), Peter Lee (two time Black Belt Karate World Champion - also see story on Peter below), and Smiths Falls Bears star goalie Jody O'Neill (headed to Dartmouth College on a hockey scholarship.) Kim Ethier, mother of 11 year old goaltender Aidan Ethier, also helped out.

For most of the players this was their first exposure to visual skills evaluation and training, with the exception of goaltender Brian Elliott, and center Cody Bass. Brian was evaluated last year, and Cody began training during the winter while recovering from an injury. The players were surprised at how challenging the DynaVision drills could be, as they were not expecting such an intense mind and body workout.

Introducing New Service Packages

One evaluation and two training programs make choices easier

Currently we offer three choices for evaluations and three choices for training programs. As this has generated some confusion for our customers, this will be simplified to just one evaluation choice and just two training choices. The new training programs will be referred to as 'Level 1' and 'Level 2', which will be similar to the 'Bronze' and 'Silver' programs currently offered. Pricing will also be affected once these changes take effect, so renew your programs now!

Introducing Our New Referral Bonus Program

Free DynaVision training sessions

We are now offering all Dynamic Edge customers 5 free training sessions as an incentive for bringing in a new customer. Please note that the new customer must sign up for a training program for a current customer to be eligible for the referral reward.

Change to Office Hours

Please note that we will be operating by appointment only on Saturdays and after 6pm Tuesday through Friday from now on. All other hours remain unchanged.

Peter Lee Sets World Record with 202 Hit Performance!

Also sets 4 minute DynaVision World Record at 756

Two time World Black Belt Karate champion Peter Lee continues to astound everyone with his phenomenal speed with an average reaction time as low as 0.29 seconds! That's over 3 hits per second! Besides setting the 1 minute and 4 minute world records, Peter also set a 1 minute with 6 digits record of 195 hits during a demonstration for the Ottawa Senators development camp players!

Breakthrough Discovery in Understanding of Visual Processing

In this Youtube Video, neuroscientists explain their recent "scientific breakthrough" discovery that two levels of visual processing exist: One for perception and one for action. Of course we've known this for 25 years, but it's nice to to have it confirmed by someone else!
